Oscar Isaac’s Friend Has A Role In ‘The Last Jedi’

Oscar Isaac, who busted onto the Star Wars scene as X-wing pilot Poe Dameron in The Force Awakens, will be returning in that same role (and more so) in The Last Jedi later this month. The Sequel Trilogy has been good to Isaac in terms of a familiar face being associated with the production of the films.

With his uncle confirmed as having a role in 2015’s The Force Awakens, Isaac revealed during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday night that his friend Jay has a role in The Last Jedi. Sadly, that role will be short-lived as the character portrayed by Jay (just like his uncle’s Episode VII character) dies in the film.

Check out the video segment below from Kimmel in which Isaac talks about his friend joining the Episode VIII cast (fast forward to the 4:14 mark).
