Puppeteer Phil Eason has passed away at the age of 60, just a few weeks shy of his birthday on May 5th. Eason was the puppeteer responsible for bringing the character of Yaddle to life in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
The experienced puppeteer had many credits on TV commercials, TV series, and films including Little Shop of Horrors, Labyrinth, The Never Ending Story III, Muppet Treasure Island, Lost in Space, and the first two Harry Potter films.
