According to Deadline, actress Adria Arjona has been cast in the currently-untitled Cassian Andor live-action Disney+ series opposite lead star Diego Luna. Specific details on the character Arjona will be portraying in the series remain unclear at this time though /Film has reportedly heard she might be playing Cassian’s sister.
Adria Arjona is set to star opposite Diego Luna in Disney Plus’ Star Wars series based on the Cassian Andor character Luna played in Rogue One. Denise Gough, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller are also on board.
A Disney spokesperson declined to comment.
The Cassian series is set to arrive on Disney+ sometime next year. As is the case with all Star Wars casting reports/rumors, we await official word from a Disney/Lucasfilm source before putting a final stamp on this news.
