Riz Ahmed continues to promote his new film Sound of Metal, and in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter he discusses why a return to Star Wars and Venom are unlikely.
He shoots down the possibility of appearing in a Venom sequel (“I think I’m done in Venom. It’s pretty conclusive. In the meantime, Ahmed is consumed with his Left Handed development slate, which includes his longtime dream project: a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The project was set up at Netflix but lapsed and reverted back to Ahmed.
