We send our congratulations to Samantha Alleyne who is celebrating her tenth anniversary as the first female Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and roles in many of the subsequent Star Wars films and Disney+ shows too.
10 years ago today I stepped into a tent at Pinewood Studios; saw a row of Stormtrooper costumes hanging up and realised the film I was fitting for was Star Wars.
I don’t quite have the words or emotional bandwidth to express exactly how I’m feeling today. So I spent 17.5 hours yesterday making this video instead.
Thank you all for your unwavering love and support. I’m incredibly grateful.
