Collider’s Steve Weintraub recently caught up with Sigourney Weaver to chat about her new film, Dust Bunny, with the actress confirming that Pedro Pascal was indeed in The Mandalorian & Grogu, putting to bed a long-standing rumour that Pascal was not in the film.
After briefly going back and forth about whether The Mandalorian and Grogu has the chops to stand up with Andor, to which Weaver said, “It won’t be as good as The Mandalorian [and Grogu], just letting you know.” She continued by confirming that “it’s a different world.” Both projects may be set within the Star Wars universe, but Andor tackles much heavier themes of political corruption and fascism.
Weintraub further highlighted the differences between a show like Andor and a film like The Mandalorian and Grogu, saying the former is “dealing with deadly serious stuff” and the latter is “a fun time at the movies.” She wasn’t so quick to agree, closing out by saying, “Well, let’s see, shall we? I’m sure it will be at least that. And it will have Pedro Pascal.”
See Dust Bunny in US cinemas from December 5th; no word on a UK release date yet. The Mandalorian & Grogu Arrives on May 22nd, 2026.
