During an almost eight-hour long fundraising livestream for Ukraine, one of the guests on Convor Call was Star Wars composer Kevin Kiner who confirmed that Disney/Lucasfilm are developing another Star Wars animated series.
“You know, we are working on a new project. It’s an animated project. It’s a Star Wars project. And that’s all we can say. It’s really, really frikkin’ great… To the point where Lucasfilm and Disney are giving us full orchestra for every episode… It’s a very special project, some great, great people are involved, and we’re really privileged to be part of that one. And I probably said too much already.”
Kiner confirmed that the new project is in addition to the second series of The Bad Batch. We await further news on both projects, The Bad Batch and the new animated show, from Disney/Lucasfilm and it seems most likely that will come in some form at Star Wars Celebration in the last week of May.
