The Mandalorian & Grogu Tax Credits Revealed by California Film Commission

The California Film Commission has revealed over fifty films that will receive tax credits for shooting in California including The Mandalorian & Grogu, which shot for 92 days and had a budget of $166,438,000, generating $21,755,000 in credits.

The film is now in post production and we will get more news at Star Wars Celebration Japan during a panel on Friday, April 18th at 10am, with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and special guests.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is directed by Jon Favreau, and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, and arrives in cinemas on May 22nd, 2026.
