
With all eight episodes of the first season of The Mandalorian now available to stream on Disney+, series creator Jon Favreau took to Twitter to let fans know Season 2 will be arriving sometime in Fall 2020. Favreau punctuated this statement with a photo of the production statue of a familiar creature’s species that will be seen in Season 2.

Lucasfilm’s creative art manager Phil Szostak followed up Favreau’s post with more info on this creature sculpt via the tweet embedded below.
We already know that production on Season 2 of The Mandalorian is currently underway and that next season actor Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) will be directing an episode.
