The schedule for this year’s all-virtual E3 Expo is out now, and whilst we know that Ubisoft will go first, there is no mention of The Skywalker Saga game and Warner Bros Games are only listed in relation to Back 4 Blood (due in October).
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is somewhat late and whilst we appreciate that the developers at TT Games, part of Warner Bros Games, want to get things right, E3 is the perfect time to give us an update as to when we might see the game, or perhaps share some more game details. It was last August that we got the world premiere of gameplay, and since then the release date has moved from spring 2021 to an undetermined date, with the last update from TT being on April 2nd, some two months ago.
We learned earlier this year that Lucasfilm and Ubisoft are collaborating together on a brand new open-world Star Wars game that will be presented under the Lucasfilm Games brand name. Details on this new project are scarce at the moment, though we do know the forthcoming title from Ubisoft will be utilizing The Division’s Snowdrop engine. Here’s hoping we find out more on Saturday, June 12th.
