The Metro: What Could Luke Skywalker Learn About The Force After The Events Of ‘Rogue One’?

My latest article over at The Metro takes a look at the possibilities thrown up by the forthcoming run on the Marvel Star Wars title under the stewardship of Kieron Gillen – how will Luke’s understanding of the Force be affected by the events of Rogue One?

Last December’s Rogue One and Star Wars Rebels, which enters its fourth and final season next month, give us a look at the state of the galaxy as the rebellion coalesces into a more formal opposition to the Emperor around the time of A New Hope.

We saw the various cells of the rebellion come together in Rebels and take the fight to the Empire in Rogue One, stealing the plans for the Death Star and destroying it in the original Star Wars.

But how will the events of Rogue One affect Luke Skywalker?

Just after these, Luke learns of his connection to the Force but his teacher, Obi-Wan Kenobi, dies at the hand of Darth Vader – the man Luke believes betrayed and murdered his father.
