According to Metacritic, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has beaten out various other major game releases to claim the title of highest-rated Xbox game of the year, reaching a Metascore of 86 on consoles, and 87 on PC, with positive reviews from almost everyone.
The scores make The Great Circle the highest rated Indiana Jones game to be released across the history of the franchise, beating out LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.
