Review
LEGO has gone back to fill in some of the gaps from the Marvel Cinematic Universe with sets released under The Infinity Saga banner, including a set from Avengers: Endgame, Sanctuary II: Endgame Battle.

In the box are three numbered bags, an instruction manual and sticker sheet.
The Build
This set is very much aimed at a younger audience due to is size and scale – it comes in at around 36cm wide and 18cm long. It’s a relatively quick build, starting with building Thanos and Iron Man; the latter comes with a plethora of trans blue blast elements, a dual sided head, helmet and hair piece allowing you to have Iron Man unmasked.
The cockpit of Sanctuary II is built specifically around Thanos with no room for any other minifigures, and although the cargo area could have been used to deploy Chitauri, none are included. Instead, the cargo area is used to store the Infinity gauntlet on a support. The resulting spaceship reminds me of the popular LEGO Star Wars microfighters, albeit bigger, due to its chibi-like nature. Three stud shooters are added atop each wing, adding to the playability of the set, which would work as a great companion to Avengers Endgame: Final Battle (#76192) released earlier in 2021. It is difficult to include detail at this scale and stickers are employed to add complexity.
Of the three minifigures included, two are unique to the set. Thanos features a printed torso and legs, with just a single-sided head print, along with the same helmet we’ve seen used before. Captain Marvel is also unique, with a new printed torso, dark blue arms and dark blue hands that represent gloves. She comes with a dual-printed head offering two expressions. Iron Man Mark 85 also appears in Avengers Endgame: Final Battle (#76192) but is a welcome addition here in a set that costs less that half that price.
Overall
It is clear, based on the size and features included, that this set is aimed at squarely at children rather than adult collectors, and this is reflected in the price of just £34.99/$39.99. It is great to get the ship represented at this scale, and it’s a fun build which lots of scope for play. With three minifigures, two of which are unique to the set, it represents relatively good value for money.
