The start of December brings the countdown to Christmas, and today we open the first door of the LEGO Star Wars (#75340) Advent Calendar.
This is the twelfth year of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar and after last year’s single themed calendar based on The Mandalorian, we return to a mixed theme.
The first day of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar brings us our first microbuild of a Republic Low Altitude Assault Transport/Infantry Gunship (LAAT/I) constructed from thirty pieces with five spares. The Gunship is instantly recognisable using a good variety of elements to bring the ship to life, we especially like the use of the bucket handle as the front guns.
