At the Lucasfilm Publishing Panel at NYCC yesterday we were given the news about a new Forces of Destiny comic series from IDW. The comics, like the animated show, will focus on heroines of Star Wars including Leia, Rey, Padme, and Ahsoka Tano, among others.
The new comic will be helmed by a bevy of female writers and artists. Jody Houser, Delilah S. Dawson, Elsa Charretier, Beth Revis, and Devin Grayson will write for the series, while Elsa Charretier, Arianna Florean, Eva Widermann, Valentina Pinto, and Nicoletta Baldari will provide covers and interior art.
In other related IDW news, issue #3 of Star Wars Adventures has been pushed back for a week or two, but it still coming.
