Jedi News Review: The Official Star Wars Fact File Issue 3

The galaxy’s most notorious smuggler is on the cover of the third issue of The Official Factfiles, so let’s dive in.

The third issue brings us the dividers that will separate the six sub sections of the Factfiles as we move forward. Those sections are Battle and Events, Droids and Machines, Humans and Aliens, Planets and Locations, Weapons and Technology and Starships and Vehicles and while the dividers are basic, the info they’ll be bringing certainly isn’t (although it’s written in Basic).

As will be usual each issue the articles are broken down into the aforementioned sections. Battle and Events brings us a closer look at the infamous Boonta Eve Podrace, Droids and Machines focuses on the Arakyd Probot from The Empire Strikes Back. Humans and Aliens looks at the fearsome General Grievous and Han Solo, Planets and Locations aims for and hits Greedo’s homeworld of Rodia, Weapons and Technology looks into laser cannons and Starships and Vehicles investigates the emergency firespeeders from Revenge of the Sith and oneof the most iconic vehicles from all of Star Wars, the AT-AT.

The beauty of being able to revisit and refresh the Factfiles is the options it allows DeAgostini, especially in the wake of the stellar work done exploring the wider galaxy in The Clone Wars, so this time around the chance to visit Rodia in far more detail is taken.

Our pull-out schematic for issue 3 is of the AT-AT, and again we’re allowed a closer look at this terrifying battle wagon, and the value of the Factfiles is highlighted as a quick and detailed take on this vehicles, and others, is allowed. Roll on issue 4!
