This week the front cover of the sixth issue of the Official Star Wars Fact File is occupied by the smooth talking baron administrator who’ll turn you into a coffee table but he’ll also save your galaxy. I’m talking about Lando Calrissian and he’s the star of this issue, so let’s take a look.
As the Official Star Wars Fact File grow week on week and the various sections sloide into the folder it’s great to see, as I mentioned in last weeks review, that The Clone Wars article sit neatly next to Prequel ones, using images from the films, then bespoke artwork or scenes from games to bring us the complete story behind the Star Wars galaxy and its story, and this issue is no exception.

We break down the publication into six distinct sections. In Battles and Events we look at the twisted dark side influences behind the actions of The Clone Wars as Anakin and Padme marry and conflict begins to spread throughout the galaxy. In Droids and Machines we focus on 4A-7, the Arakyd Industries droid from the 2008 Clone Wars movie, looking at the design flaws that plagued him as well as his devious actions.

Humans and Aliens looks at Boushh, both the real one and the identity that Leia Organa used to rescue Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt. We take a look at our cover star Lando Calrissian, exploring the decisions he made to betray his friends at Bespin and the start of his efforts to make amends, and we also focus on the ill fated Admiral Kendal Ozzel who met a sticky end at the Force hand of Darth Vader. Planets and Locations looks at the world of Christophsis, first seen in the 2008 Clone Wars movie and later in a couple of episodes while Weapons and Technology aims its lasers at ornate and powerful wookiee blasters. Finally Starships and Vehicles takes a gatefold look at the TIE Advanced x1, AKA Darth Vaders TIE fighter from A New Hope and the unique design that saw it influence a number of later releases.
