Last week we reported that the website Blu-ray.com had an April 5 release date listed in their product placeholder for The Force Awakens. I just checked the site again a few minutes ago and that date is no longer listed for the film, having been replaced with the standard “No Release Date” wording instead.
Does this indicate Blu-ray.com was contacted by a Disney/Lucasfilm representative and told to remove the April 5 release date information? As we stated before in our initial story, we continue to wait for the official Episode VII Blu-ray announcement to come from Disney/Lucasfilm.
