If you are looking to get your hands on your copy of The Force Awakens on Blu-ray as soon as humanly possible, this update might be just the thing for you. Shown above is a screen shot of the back page of Walmart’s ad for next week (click for a larger view) and as you can see, they will be having the Episode VII Blu-ray available for purchase at midnight on April 5.
There is a catch-22 though, as I learned after calling my local Walmart store that not all locations will be participating in this midnight opening for the Blu-ray release. So if you want to pick up your copy of the Blu-ray from Walmart ASAP, visit their Store Finder and call your local store(s) to see if they will be participating in this event.
