Over at The Metro I take a look at a cool piece of news. Rian Johnson allowed John Boyega to keep his blaster from The Last Jedi.
The Last Jedi isn’t that far away – December 15 brings the third of the new wave of Star Wars films from Lucasfilm and Disney, directed by Rian Johnson of Looper fame.
The plot of the film is a closely guarded secret, the twists and turns highly anticipated by the many millions of fans across the globe.
One of the many elements which can potentially give away clues about the film’s plot are the props, especially on a Star Wars film where something as iconic as a lightsaber could be a huge spoiler.
Blasters, however, rarely hold the same secrets, and that’s probably why Johnson was happy to allow star John Boyega to keep his blaster from the film and further to that, post an Instagram video about it.
