Today I take a look at what we know so far of Laura Dern’s character from The Last Jedi, Admiral Holdo.
Dern, best known to blockbuster audiences for her performance as paleontologist Dr Ellie Sattler in Jurassic Park, plays the elegantly dressed Admiral.
Rumours have Holdo described as a proxy for General Leia, confirming that she is a high-ranking member of the Resistance.
With her stylish pink hair she may have a touch of the Mrs Slocombe’s, but Holdo is no pussycat.
Lucasfilm story group member Pablo Hidalgo broached Holdo’s racial heritage, confirming that she is human and that her striking pink hair was to do with her cultural background.
