BBC Radio 5: ‘Star Wars’ Actor ‘The Last Jedi’ Mixes Technologies

Actor Warwick Davis, who has starred in four Star Wars films, says puppetry has been combined with digital technology in The Last Jedi. Davis told 5 live Afternoon Edition producer Kathleen Kennedy had said she wanted to ‘use all the tools in the tool-box’ and mix old and new technologies.

He added “a lot of the work you do in fantasy and sci-fi movies has to be imagined, it can’t all be there in front of you”.

This clip is originally from Afternoon Edition on Monday, 30 October 2017 – on which our very own James Burns was also on.
