Disney have announced the release of The Force Awakens for the 5th April in the USA on their Disney Store website. Whilst we have yet to see any statement from Lucasfilm, with Disney being the parent company of Lucasfilm this is as official as it can get.
A Blu-ray + DVD + Digital HD Copy pack with free lithograph for pre-orders for $24.95 has been revealed.
Whilst a listing of the home release has been on the site for some time, this is the first time the phrase “Available to own April 5, 2016.” has been attached.
