It was announced by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy during yesterday’s Disney Investor Day 2020 webcast that production on the fifth and final Indiana Jones film is set to begin this coming spring. A new primarily yellow-hued logo was also revealed for the film during the presentation. As reported earlier, James Mangold will be performing directorial duties and franchise star Harrison Ford will be donning his dusty fedora and cracking his trusty whip one last time on the silver screen.
Lucasfilm is in pre-production on the next installment of Indiana Jones. At the helm is James @Mang0ld, director of ‘Ford v Ferrari,’ and Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to continue his iconic character’s journey. Adventure arrives July 2022. (via @Disney)
The currently-untitled Indy 5 is still on course to be released on July 29, 2022.
