Due to filming commitments, Michael Carter has had to cancel his appearance at Echo Base Live, but the organising team have signed up Mike Edmonds to appear in his absence.
Edmonds is well known to Star Wars fans for playing the Ewok Logray in Return of the Jedi and the Chief Ugnaught in The Empire Strikes Back. His list of acting credits is very impressive and includes Flash Gordon (1980), The Dark Crystal (1982), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and the role of Og in the film Time Bandits (1981).
The other 7 confirmed guests are Femi Taylor, Paul Blake, John Simpkin, David Stone, Chris Bunn, Brian Wheeler and Andrew Lawden.
Early Bird entry is sold out, but from 10am it is a free to attend event, which will run until 3:30pm. The event will include 150+ stalls, lightsaber training and life size displays as well as the 8 guests who will be signing (Charges apply).
