We open the ninth day’s doors of the LEGO City, LEGO Disney, LEGO Friends, LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Marvel Advent Calendars.
LEGO have been releasing Advent Calendars for two decades now, celebrating twenty years for LEGO City, thirteen years for LEGO Friends, six years for LEGO Harry Potter, four years for LEGO Marvel, and the very first year for LEGO Disney.
Let’s take a look behind today’s door of each to see what they bring (click on the images for a closer look)…
LEGO City (#60436)
The ninth day of the LEGO City Advent Calendar brings our third minifigure of a man wearing a festive jumper, snowshoes and carrying what looks like to be hot chocolate with cream on top.
LEGO Disney (#43253)
Opening door nine of the LEGO Disney Advent Calendar reveals our third microdoll of Elsa from Frozen, including a present topped with a bow.
LEGO Friends (#42637)
Behind the ninth door of the LEGO Friends Calendar we get another cat, a younger version of Olly’s cat Gertrude with a cat tree and fish. The cat tree looks very similar to something we have in our home, here built from just ten pieces, and it looks perfect.
LEGO Harry Potter (#76438)
Day nine of the Harry Potter Advent Calendar brings us our third minifigure, Susan Bones from Hufflepuff, one of the four Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, along with the now requisite stand and 2×2 printed house tile which features a badger. The unique torso features a Hufflepuff scarf, which is unfortunately obscured by the hair piece.
LEGO Marvel – Spider-Man Themed (#76293)
The ninth day of the LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar brings us our third minifigure of the year as Ghost Spider/Spider-Gwen with a set of drumsticks. This is a good choice, but we’ve seen this minifigure before.
Let us know what you think of today’s builds/items, and join us tomorrow for a look behind the next doors.
