Today marks the seventh day of the 2021 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (#75307) and we take a look what’s behind today’s door. We also take a look at the Harry Potter (#76390) and Marvel The Avengers (#76196) calendars!
This is the eleventh year of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar and for the first time we get a single themed calendar based around the Disney+ show The Mandalorian.
The seventh day brings us another mini build, today we get Mythrol’s blue landspeeder from the second season of The Mandalorian. The vehicle looks great, albeit showroom new rather than beaten up as we see it in the show, and it appears accurate with the correct engine configuration. The build is constructed using twenty-five pieces, with five spares.
As an added bonus, for the third year running we delve into the Harry Potter advent calendar which this year explores Harry’s journey from his aunt’s house to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as seen in the first book/film the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Day seven takes us to the Leaky Cauldron and gives us the sign for the public house, accurate to what’s shown on screen during The Philosopher’s Stone. It looks great and is built from just five elements, with one spare piece.
There is another…. following the success of the Star Wars and Harry Potter Advent Calendars, LEGO have introduced a Marvel The Avengers Advent Calendar for the first time.
Behind today’s door we get our third minifigure from The Avengers calendar (following Iron Man and Black Widow), more than either of the other calendars so far, and its a cracker in the form of Spider-Man wearing an exclusive yellow jacket, inspired by the decathlon blazer from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The minifigure comes with two accessories of a white mug and churro, and we think it looks excellent. There are no spare pieces today.
Joins us tomorrow at 16:38 GMT (11:38 EST) for a look behind Day 8’s doors.
