Today marks day fourteen of the 2021 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (#75307) and we take a look what’s behind today’s door. We also take a look at the Harry Potter (#76390) and Marvel The Avengers (#76196) calendars!
This is the eleventh year of the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar and for the first time we get a single themed calendar based around the Disney+ show The Mandalorian.
Yesterday’s Scout Trooper minifigure was missing its weapon(s), so it will come as no surprise that behind today’s door is a weapons rack, with two weapons. The simple build is created using eleven pieces, plus the two weapons, and one spare piece.
As an added bonus, for the third year running we delve into the Harry Potter advent calendar which this year explores Harry’s journey from his aunt’s house to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as seen in the first book/film the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Today we add gold coins and ingots to yesterday’s Gringotts vault, piled on a 2×6 bracket element to allow for easy attachment to the vault door. It uses a total of seventeen pieces with just one spare.
There is another…. following the success of the Star Wars and Harry Potter Advent Calendars, LEGO have introduced a Marvel The Avengers Advent Calendar for the first time.
The presents continue with Dum-E holding a present! It looks fabulous and is instantly recognisable, built from fourteen pieces with a couple of spares. Dum-E has been featured in a few previous sets and the design remains consistent here.
Joins us tomorrow at 16:38 GMT (11:38 EST) for a look behind Day 15’s doors.
